My GGG Grandfather, Jeremiah Potter was also moved to Willow Dale along with several other of my ancestors. I know that there was a connection with the Campbells of Kinzua. I was sorry to see the current condition of the Kinzua and Morrison section. Several of the memorials are now sinking into the ground and some had the grass grown over top of them. There were also several memorial placks with "unknown" on them. It seems a shame that these pioneers had to be moved to their final resting place and now are suffering neglect in their new resting place. I believe that the government should take special care of this cemetery after all the families were put through.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08959607280987566385noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1406792444684364815.post-32066705429777496952018-02-04T06:13:23.401-05:002018-02-04T06:13:23.401-05:00I believe that they may well be in the hands of on...I believe that they may well be in the hands of one of his sons.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08435528357485131888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1406792444684364815.post-89707460012107371222018-02-04T00:10:37.052-05:002018-02-04T00:10:37.052-05:00Very sad.i wonder if anyone in your family knows w...Very sad.i wonder if anyone in your family knows what happened to 16 mm film reels, used by a Morrison fellow in his 80s, yo give wonderful lectures on his life in kinzua?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02450548212200646753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1406792444684364815.post-71607456292179457852014-03-08T11:04:27.199-05:002014-03-08T11:04:27.199-05:00I also am a relative of James Morrison Sr and woul...I also am a relative of James Morrison Sr and would like to know if I might be able to share your picture of his grave on my Timeline on Facebook? Being Dutch myself, I was very much interested. I also have a blog with many genealogical subjects. One of my posts shows a survey of foreign genealogical blogs/sites showing Dutch origin surnames. The URL is http://www.patmcast.blogspot.com/2012/05/dutch-ancestors.html. The idea is to try and establish contacts between people who have an interest in the same surname. There are numerous cases in The Netherlands where people emigrated centuries ago without leaving a trace in Dutch archives. With my blog I try to bring Dutch and foreign (mainly US/CAN) genealogists together.
Therefore, I like to have your permission to show your site in my a.m. blog.
I look forward to your reaction!
Kind regards,
Peter
Peterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08512412669995490110noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1406792444684364815.post-55432372949886599122013-04-03T16:41:55.962-04:002013-04-03T16:41:55.962-04:00Kipp,
